Matthew Weiner rules out a “Mad Men” spinoff, says he was told of split season
“It’s a strategy from the network and I was told about it,” Weiner says of splitting the final season into two halves. “I found a way to work with it. That’s all I can say. I think it’s an opportunity.” As for a spinoff, Weiner says, “There’s no chance… when it’s done, it’s done.”

The pilot got some unfavorable reviews, so ABC is switching things up.

“Breaking Bad’s” finale will be followed by a 1-hour “Talking Bad” with Jimmy Kimmel

“Talking Bad” will air immediately after the finale, and will feature many of the show’s casts and alums. Kimmel will also be hosting a Q&A at the Hollywood Forever Cemetery, where Aaron Paul is screening the finale. Also, AMC will air every “Breaking Bad” episode in a marathon starting next week.
