Melissa McCarthy goes on a crime spree in newest ‘Tammy’ trailer

What better way to spend to spend the 4th of July weekend than with new summer comedy queen Melissa McCarthy?

The “Bridesmaids” and “The Heat” star is seen robbing — and, later, un-robbing — a burger joint in the newest trailer for the upcoming comedy “Tammy,” which also features what looks like a nice comic turn from Susan Sarandon.

The new video expands on the initial trailer, with some phantom bees, a little hot tub talk, and a familiar bit in which someone mixes up famous Armstrongs. Coolio and Tchaikovsky provide the background music.

“Tammy” also stars Allison Janney, Gary Cole, Mark Duplass, Toni Collette, Nat Faxon, Dan Aykroyd and Kathy Bates. McCarthy co-wrote the film with her husband Ben Falcone, who also directed.

“Tammy” will be unleashed July 2
