Michael Douglas talks ‘Ant-Man’ and his one-take sex scene in ‘Behind the Candelabra’

Fact: Michael Douglas is starring in “Ant-Man.” Fact: Michael Douglas can tell us nothing about “Ant-Man.”

“I can’t say a word,” said Douglas when pressed backstage at the 2014 SAG Awards, where he took home the statuette for Outstanding Male Actor in a Television Movie or Miniseries for “Behind the Candelabra.” “They have got me contractually…I can’t say a word, just I really don’t…I’m not even sure, no! No!…No, I don’t know.”

Translation: If he says anything, Marvel will probably have him killed. But hey, how about all that gay sex in “Behind the Candelabra”?

“Forgetting all the hot tub sequences we had,” began the actor, “there was one particular sexual act that we only did one take, and Steven Soderbergh, our director, put down the camera and said, ‘I have no notes.'”

One-take sex. Now that’s something I think we can all get behind.
