Six weeks into her 38-city “Bangerz” tour, Miley Cyrus took a break to reveal what goes into making the massive arena show happen. Watch her “VEVO Tour Exposed” video below.
Cyrus introduces the many people who have helped launch the tour, including her manager/mom, creative lead, costume designer and music director. She explains the vision for the tour was inspired by the video for “We Can”t Stop,” after people said “I want to go to that party that you shot that video at.” The show includes dancing furries and Cyrus riding a flying hot dog.
The singer”s new collaboration with the Flaming Lips could prove to be just as weirdly psychedelic. The band”s Wayne Coyne revealed via Instagram that they”re covering the Beatles' “Lucy in the Sky With Diamonds” with MGMT's Andrew VanWyngarden.
Cyrus has regularly covered the Lips” song “Yoshimi Battles the Pink Robots” on the “Bangerz” tour, with Coyne joining her at the Los Angeles and Tulsa stops.
