Nearly every HBO drama or miniseries has been created by a white man
Since 1975, according to The Huffington Post, 34 of the 38 people responsible for every HBO miniseries and drama has been white. Three woman and one non-white man made up the other four. In response, HBO insists that it”s trying to diversify: “We can do better; we are doing better; we are striving to do better,” says a spokesperson, pointing out a new diversity initiative, plus new projects with Oprah, Steve McQueen and Jenji Kohan.
