New villains & heroes in Arrow, Flash, Legends of Tomorrow Comic-Con clips

While Warner Bros. was busy debuting their big screen superheroes, their small screen counterparts were also making a splash at San Diego Comic-Con. Check out the newest footage from Arrow, The Flash, Legends of Tomorrow, Gotham and more.

DCTV is a big group that came out in force at Comic-Con this weekend. They also had panels and excited fans with various clips and trailers. Most of these include older footage because none of the series are that far into production for their new seasons yet (Supergirl hasn't started at all, in fact) but there is some very cool stuff going on.

Arrow heads into its fifth season a few team members short, hence Team Arrow 2.0 is created including Evelyn Sharp (the returning Madison McLaughlin) and Wild Dog (Rick Gonzalez) who will all have to go up against the villain Prometheus.

The Flash will be delving into the “Flashpoint” storyline for their next season which involves Barry's decision to go back in time (again) and change a major point in his life. Dr. Alchemy will be a new foe this season as well. Check out some of this wacky alternate timeline Barry created.

Season 2 of Legends of Tomorrow will not only feature the Justice Society of America but also the Legion of Doom. The villainous group will include Malcolm Merlyn (John Barrowman), Damien Darhk (Neal McDonough), the Reverse-Flash (Matt Letscher) and Captain Cold (Wentworth Miller). As for the JSA, previously seen Patrick J. Adams will return as Rex Tyler, a.k.a. Hourman, and he'll be joined by the yet-to-be-cast Obsidian, Stargirl and Dr. Mid-Nite.

WB also showed fans a first look at Vixen Season 2, their animated CW Seed series. The clip features The Flash, Firestorm and Weather Wizard. Megalyn E.K. voices the hero in the show and brought her to life on Arrow last season but a different actor, Star Wars' Maisie Richardson-Sellers, will take on an earlier version of the mantle on Legends of Tomorrow this fall.

Moving over to Fox, here's Gothams' Comic-Con reel.
