It”s hard to put into words what Prince has meant to so many. His musicianship and creativity was unparalleled. According to the liner notes from his first album, For You, he played all 27 instruments on the record.
Over the years, Prince would put out 39 studio albums, four live albums and six compilation albums, selling more than 100 million copies. He also filmed 136 music videos, some of which we”ve included below alongside concert footage.
It”s a sad day for music lovers everywhere. But at least we can remember Prince for what he meant to each of us.
