Remembering film and television legend Garry Marshall

Hollywood director, writer, producer, and actor Garry Marshall has died at age 81. Marshall was best known for creating popular sitcoms like Happy Days and Laverne & Shirley as well as directing films such as Pretty Woman and The Princess Diaries

A true master of comedy, Marshall also created the television adaptation of The Odd Couple – which has since spurred a CBS reboot – and Mork & Mindy, both of which also became wildly popular hits that remain culturally significant.
