“You Don't Own Me” is a starting-stopping-heart-halting kiss-off by Grace, who does her newish turn on the 1963 tune by Lesley Gore (written by John Madara and Dave White, produced by Quincy Jones).
The tune has hit No. 1 in Grace's homeland Australia, and was signed to RCA this year, set up with producers like Puff Daddy and — you guessed it — Quincy Jones. Again! Her EP “Memo” dropped just this week.
