Yes, summer is over, and network television has, at least in part, kicked reality TV back into the corners of the programming schedule to make way for so-so sitcoms and procedural dramas. But that doesn't mean the genre isn't flourishing in the outposts of basic cable. With all of the big ideas beaten to death (people stranded on an island, people stranded on an island and dating, people stranded on an island and cooking…), TV programmers have clearly decided, eh, whatever, go nuts. Really, there's no other explanation for some of these shows. See for yourself.
