Jennifer Lopez hosted the 2015 American Music Awards with the gusto of Whoopi Goldberg at the Oscars: She had a hundred costume changes, threw out plenty of one-liners, and seemed to have a blast emceeing of the biggest extravaganzas of the year. For a show that drifted over the three-hour mark, we got at least ten performances that earned some serious applause. Even the middle-of-the-pack performances were engaging.
