The ‘Twin Peaks’ revival’s premiere date just got narrowed down a little bit more

David Lynch and Mark Frost's strict code of silence has made news on the Twin Peaks revival tough to come by, but here's something, at least: the show will premiere in the “second quarter” of 2017 (i.e. sometime in April, May, or June). That's according to Showtime president David Nevins, who also noted during a conference call with reporters that Lynch is currently editing the series' third season, which wrapped principal photography back in April.

Twin Peaks originally aired on ABC between 1990 and 1991 before being picked up by Showtime for an extremely-belated Season 3. Original cast members set to return for the revival include Kyle McLachlan, Sherilyn Fenn, Sheryl Lee, Madchen Amick, Ray Wise, Grace Zabriskie and Dana Ashbrook.
