TV Ratings: ‘Fresh Off The Boat’ premieres solid, while ‘NCIS’ leads CBS Tuesday

Fast National ratings for Tuesday, February 10, 2015.

“NCIS,” “NCIS: New Orleans” and even “Person of Interest” won their Tuesday hours both overall and in the key demo, as CBS cruised to victory in all measures.

Tuesday's biggest shake-up came courtesy of ABC, which had “Fresh Off The Boat” premiere to more-than-respectable numbers, helping the network grab second for the night in all measures.

Also of note, The CW's “Flash” posted a tiny gain, while NBC's double-dose of “Parks and Recreation” struggled.

Let's get to the numbers…

Among adults 18-49, CBS averaged a 2.2 rating for Tuesday primetime, tops in the key demographic. ABC was second with a 1.4 key demo rating, followed closely by FOX's 1.3 key demo rating and the 1.1 rating for both NBC and The CW in the key demo.

Overall, CBS dominated with an estimated 14.61 million viewers and a 9.2 rating/15 share for Tuesday night. That very nearly equaled the combined totals for the other four networks. ABC was second with a 3.1/5 and 4.88 million viewers. NBC's 2.5/4 and 3.79 million viewers edged out the 3.53 million and 2.2/4 for FOX. And The CW averaged 2.76 million viewers and a 1.7/3 in fifth.

8 p.m. – “NCIS” averaged 18.56 million viewers and was up week-to-week with a 2.8 rating among adults 18-49 to lead the 8 p.m. hour for CBS. Two new “Fresh Off The Boat” episodes averaged 6 million viewers and a 1.7 key demo rating and then 5.81 million and a 1.8 key demo rating, making them Tuesday's top comedies. The CW's “The Flash” averaged 3.48 million viewers and a 1.4 key demo rating, topping the 2.74 million viewers and 1.0 key demo rating for two new “Parks and Recreation” episodes on NBC.

9 p.m. – CBS' “NCIS: New Orleans” averaged 15.86 million viewers and a 2.2 rating among adults 18-49 to easily win the 9 p.m. hour. FOX was third with “New Girl” (2.73 million and a 1.3 key demo) and “The Mindy Project” (2.34 million and a 1.0 key demo), which at least beat the total for NBC's “Marry Me” (2.15 million and a 0.8 key demo) and 2.675 million and a 0.8 key demo). The CW's “Supernatural” was tied for fourth with a 0.8 key demo rating and finished fifth with 2.04 million viewers.

10 p.m. – “Person of Interest” closed CBS' primetime sweep with 9.41 million viewers and a 1.5 rating among adults 18-49.
