Video of the Day: Patrick Wilson and Rose Byrne battle ghosts in ‘Insidious’

After getting rave reviews from critics (including ours) at the Toronto Film Festival, where it was picked up immediately, “Insidious” released a new trailer and announced an opening date this week. (April 1st) The movie will have it’s U.S. Premiere at SXSW this March.

Starring Patrick Wilson and Rose Byrne, the film centers around a young family who’s beautiful house holds dark entities that threaten their son after he has an accident and is hospitalized. The parents must come to terms with what is happening to them in their own ways. Barbara Hershey also stars as Patrick Wison’s mother.

The film is directed by James Wan, and written by Leigh Whannell the same team that created the original “Saw,”  so it comes with a pedigree. I can truly say the trailer alone produces goosebumps, and so it’s the Video of the Day
