Shows like “The Bachelor” and “The Bachelorette” are harmless and fun until you think about what must go on backstage. Then it's creepy and terrifying and even more fun. Lifetime knows this and exploits it on their new series “UnREAL,” which documents the behind-the-scenes freakiness of a “Bachelor”-type series.
Scathing, right? The show premieres June 1 on Lifetime. That's “Roswell” and “Girls” alum Shiri Appleby as the grim producer. Here's hoping she lives up to the legacy of my favorite character in that category.
