New documentary “As I Am: The Life and Time$ of DJ AM” chronicles the story of late musician and record producer Adam Michael Goldstein, a.k.a. DJ AM, including his time struggling with substance abuse followed by 11 years of sobriety and devotion to helping others in addiction recovery.
The doc premiered at this year”s Tribeca Film Festival and currently has an Indiegogo campaign to fund its music licenses and self-distribution costs. The campaign has already surpassed its $125,000 goal but will continue taking contributions for another week.
