In what is certainly the most anticipated “Carpool Karaoke” instalment, Hamilton star Lin-Manuel Miranda joins James Corden for a ride to Beacon Theater, beginning with the opening song from the hit Broadway show (prompting Corden to show off those rapping skills he's been honing in his “Drop the Mic” segments). But it doesn't stop there – three more Broadway stars join them along the way.
Audra McDonald, Jesse Tyler Ferguson, and Jane Krakowski all hop in the backseat to join the two for more Broadway hits, ranging from Rent to Les Misérables to Jersey Boys. Along the way, the stars offer Corden some advice for his Tony Award hosting gig this week (“It's a long evening, so just have fun,” McDonald says while Ferguson assures Corden that it's “the nicest audience).
