Watch out, Evil Corp, USA has just renewed ‘Mr. Robot’ for Season 3

Keyboards at the ready, fsociety. Enter. USA Network just announced their Emmy-nominated Mr. Robot is moving ahead for Season 3.

Mr. Robot is one of the most intense television shows I've ever watched and I'm thrilled we're going to get another season of Elliot's bizarre journey. Creator Sam Esmail is, and I don't say this lightly, a genius. His cast of Rami Malek, Christian Slater, Carly Chaikin, Portia Doubleday, Martin Wallström, and Stephanie Corneliussen are indescribably good.

“Being the home studio for this wonderful, completely original show is an exhilarating experience. Sam and company just keep taking it to another level,” said Jeff Wachtel, Chief Content Officer, NBCUniversal Cable Entertainment and President, Universal Cable Productions.

Chris McCumber, President, Entertainment Networks for NBCUniversal Cable Entertainment added, “We couldn”t be more proud of Mr. Robot, a series that has pushed boundaries, captured the cultural zeitgeist, and been honored as one of the best dramas on television.”

New episodes air every Wednesday on USA, but the show involves viewers in a very unique way outside of episodes through social media. And I can personally attest to that.

USA says Season 3 is slated for sometime in 2017.
