This week's upcoming episode of Lip Sync Battle features Rachel Bloom (Crazy Ex-Girlfriend) competing against Michael Shannon (Boardwalk Empire). As much as we love Shannon, it's clear that Bloom – a theater kid – has the obvious advantage here.
In the sneak peek below, we get a hint of Bloom's performance of Katy Perry's “Teenage Dream.” Bloom goes a step further than just lip-syncing and actually channels the awkwardness of being a teenager, right down to the ill-fitting band uniform and the terrible skin. Michael Shannon's going to have to pull out all the stops if he wants to win.
