What’s three apples high, blue and CGI? The Smurfs! They’re back in blue and coming at you in 3D this summer, with live-action cast members Neil Patrick Harris, Hank Azaria (as Gargamel) and Sofia Vergara along for the ride.
On the Smurfier side of things, George Lopez, Fred Armisen, Jonathan Winters, Katy Perry and others provide the voices. The new trailer promises some kiddie laughs and family-friendly action, along with the inevitable line “Alright, who Smurfed?”
Sony Pictures’ “The Smurfs” opens nationwide in 3D on August 3, 2011.
