Whoopi Goldberg is eying a return to TV.
According to The Hollywood Reporter, the Oscar-winning actress will co-star in the comedy pilot “Delores & Jermaine,” from creator Jermaine Fowler. The autobiographical story will feature Fowler as a young comic moving in with his grandmother (Goldberg).
While Goldberg has been absent from a regular scripted TV gig since NBC's immortal “Whoopi,” she has done stints on “Glee” and “Suburgatory,” as well as her regular gig on “The View.”
