George R.R. Martin's latest book has been delayed indefinitely, but the new season of “Game of Thrones” now has a premiere date.
At the Television Critics Association press tour, HBO announced that “GoT” season 6 will debut on Sunday, April 24, at 9 p.m. This is the first Sunday the season can debut, since new Sunday drama “Vinyl” will be wrapping up its first season on April 17. The third season of “Silicon Valley” and fifth season of “Veep” will follow it.
