‘Wonder Woman’ is coming to The CW for a DC movie special

Next Tuesday, DC Comics and Warner Bros. are bringing an exclusive first look at the new “Wonder Woman” movie to The CW in a new DC movie special titled “Dawn of the Justice League”. 

This television special will be hosted by filmmaker/writer/lifelong comics fan Kevin Smith. DC Entertainment”s Geoff Johns will kick off the night with “Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice”, and will reveal a sneak peek of the upcoming “Wonder Woman” film.

Details about Patty Jenkin's “Wonder Woman' film have been kept tightly under wraps. All we know so far, is that Gal Gadot is playing Diana/Wonder Woman, that she'll make her DC debut in “Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice”, and that her standalone film could take place across different points in history. The cast for “Wonder Woman” was also recently released, with Chris Pine (“Star Trek”) playing Steve Trevor and Robin Wright (“House of Cards”) potentially playing Diana's mother. 

The special will also feature interviews with Ben Affleck, Henry Cavill, Gal Gadot, Zack Snyder, and Patty Jenkins. The special will conclude with the new world premiere trailer for DC's upcoming film, “Suicide Squad”.
