This week, Zoey Deutch begins a brief arc on ABC Family’s “Switched at Birth.”
While it’s a nice get for the acclaimed family drama to land one of the co-stars of “Beautiful Creatures” and The CW’s “Ringer” for a multi-episode run, Deutch’s appearance is really a not-quite-family reunion.
See, Deutch’s mother, Lea Thompson, is one of the stars of “Switched at Birth,” but the two apparently don’t share any scenes together.
