Somebody put Joe Flacco on suicide watch. Derrick Mason has told Jocklife.com that he intends to retire from the NFL, much to the surprise of his current employers, the Baltimore Ravens. This means Flacco will have to start staring down another receiver on every passing play, like Mark Clayton for example. Or hell, maybe Todd Heap will start catching passes again. But yeah, that’s probably not going to happen. Adjust your fantasy ranking accordingly, at least until Mason un-retires by signing a new contract extension. [Jocklife]
Do it, Mason! Your buddy Steve McNair’s death has shown you the preciousness of life. You must go appreciate every moment!
And shouldn’t it be called unicide for Flacco?

even in the pic, you can clearly see Flacco’s got D firmly in his peripherals.

I don’t think that he will do “Favre” on Baltimore Fans. He is a good guy and if he says that he will retire, he will.
Ravens will how get Boldin or Marshall.

I think everyone in Baltimore is already on suicide watch.

Ravens will now get Boldin or Marshall.
Well, now that Arizona and Denver know that Baltimore will be absolutely desperate for a receiver, expect the Ravens to pay through the nose for either of them.

If Baltimore’s WR corp was already shitty what is the level they are at without Mason called? The Cards and Broncos are certainly in the driver seat on any deal that is made.

Yea, I kind of wish Mason had filled in the Ravens and given them time to pursue a deal before saying anything, so they, y’know, don’t get raped by the Cards, or at the very least can demand Arizona use lube.

Had to retire like your buddy, didn’t you? Just stay away from Dave & Busters.
Speaking of retiring, it looks like you clownshoes are going to need some new material. You can start with Kelly Gregg’s 29″ inseam.
