As much as I love to make fun of him like the majority of football fans, I kind of feel bad for Tim Tebow sometimes. Yes, he’s the prototypical All-American good boy, who makes Gallant look like Goofus and Goofus look like Hitler, and he has millions of dollars, a Heisman trophy, and two BCS Championships, so why on Earth would I ever admit feeling bad for the guy? I don’t know, I guess it’s the “Aw, schucks” way he handles the spotlight ever since arriving in New York City to play second fiddle to Mark Sanchez for the Jets. Or maybe it’s the way that everyone is crapping on the guy lately, despite him doing nothing to deserve it.
Either way, the fact remains that Tebow and the Jets just flat out stink right now, so people are finding any and every excuse in the world to kick these guys while they’re down. And because Jets coach Rex Ryan believes Tebow will indeed be healthy enough to play this week – it was revealed that he was dealing with two removed injured ribs last week – we can forget about feeling bad for Tebow and go back to debating whether or not he should start.
So of course, when it comes to Jets quarterback analysis, I have turned to the best experts in the business – the dancers at Rick’s Cabaret in New York City.
“We were worried about Mark Sanchez for a little while there,” said Rick’s Cabaret NYC Girl Christina. “We love the Jets and Sanchez is our quarterback–but he has not been playing well. But against the Rams he was awesome, and he showed everyone what he is capable of.”
Of course, then he met the New England Patriots on Thanksgiving and that went to doodies. What it comes down to is what both of these QBs can offer the team.
Rick’s Cabaret NYC Girl Amber admitted, “I don’t really know anything about football, but Mark Sanchez looks really cute in his uniform, so I’m rooting for him too.”
Rick’s Cabaret New York Girl Kelsey said, “We love the Jets and all the girls think Mark Sanchez is so cute, but it’s time for Tim Tebow to get a chance.”
It’s cute vs. opportunity, friends. And while the girls at Rick’s still have an outstanding offer to Tebow to get his first lap dance there, he’ll have to at least accept their support. They’re not alone either. Over the years, many football fans have lined up to support Tebow, and they’ve expressed their love for him in sign form. Sure, not all of the poster board scribbles have been kind, but most of them have been. See for yourself.
