As part of its quest to visually document every square inch of the planet, Google recently released its map of the interior of Lucas Oil Stadium in Indianapolis. This gives people the chance to poke through various parts of the stadium without braving the overpowering smell of sausage gravy mixed with sadness that Colts fans give off.
“This is the first imagery of inside an NFL stadium in Google Maps, and another example of how we’re working hard (and having fun!) building the most comprehensive, accurate and usable map of the world,” wrote Evan Rapoport, Product Manager at Google Maps on its blog.
So useable! Of course, I don’t care about Lucas Oil Stadium as a structure, but perhaps that’s only because I’m a philistine who doesn’t have an appreciation for architecture like Andrew Luck. I’m sure there are as many as five or six woeful individuals who consider Lucas Oil to be their football mecca. They’re gonna get a big kick out of this!
Naturally, this being Google Maps, they accidentally caught scenes of criminality during their mapping of the stadium. HOW DOES GOOGLE FIND PROSTITUTES EVERYWHERE?!
Damn. The drug dealers in Indianapolis are fearless.
