Eagles Try Swinging Gate On Two-Point Attempt In The First Quarter

After the Chiefs jumped to a 10-0 lead, the Eagles responded with a touchdown drive that included a 61-yard Michael Vick run followed by an impressive touchdown throw to Jason Avant. The Eagles then decided to go for two points in the first quarter, a decision that will be reexamined hundreds of times if this game is decided by a point. Still have to respect the ballsiness, given the last time we saw the “swinging gate” play in the NFL, it was the death knell of Jim Zorn’s career as a head coach.
