Your Sean Taylor Memorial Meast for Week 2 is Jimmy Graham, who had 10 catches for 179 yards and a touchdown. Graham had more than half of his team’s receiving yards and their only touchdown in New Orleans’ 16-14 win over the Buccaneers in Tampa. He has 224 receiving yards and two scores so far this season, making it look as though he’s bouncing back from his somewhat statistical down year in 2012.
Also receiving consideration: Mario Williams, Aaron Rodgers, Giovani Bernard, Devin Hester
Your Jeff George Memorial Least for Week 2 is Eli Manning. Even though we have to accept that Eli is a generally a good quarterback and a two-time Super Bowl champion, he will still occasionally go through a couple week stretch where he can’t not turn the ball over on every possession. Now is one of those times. The Giants have gotten off to frustrating starts like these in recent history and still gone on to excel later in the season, so counting them out now may be a bit premature. At the same time, if they are indeed screwed, that just means more time Giants fans will convince themselves the team can turn it around. What fun!
