Kudos to the NFL for doing a slightly better job than Week 1 of splitting up the amount of games between the early and late game slates. There are a whopping four late games this week. What a bounty!
In case you’ve accomplished a complete avoidance of NFL media this week, you should know that this timeslot is headlined by the third installment of the Manning Bowl. The good thing about this Manning Bowl is at least it isn’t a primetime game, so there’s the viewing option of things that don’t involve Manning home movies. Unfortunately, the rest of the slate is a steaming pile of turdball, so without a vested rooting interest, it’s gonna be hard to depart the Burning Manning festival for Jaguars-Raiders.
Speaking of the Jags, TV station in Orlando is apologizing to viewers for being forced to show their games.
Your late game slate, as rated by KSK’s not-at-all subjective, rigorously scientificated five-star system:
Detroit at Arizona **
New Orleans at Tampa Bay **
Denver at New York Giants ***
Jacksonville at Oakland *
