Chiefs No Longer Need Saving, Monarchy Effective Immediately

By 10.11.13

Chiefs Kingdom

Apparently five games into an undefeated season is all it takes for the rag-tag bunch of radicals known as the “Save Our Chiefs” movement to unilaterally decide that, yes indeed the Chiefs HAVE been saved, and their work is done here. Of course it’s not that much of a stretch considering the upcoming games against both Cleveland and Buffalo. Let’s enjoy the perspective of a 2-14 team’s fan base flying a banner in favor of benching Matt Cassel while this year’s Vikings fans have probably breathed a queef of relief knowing that he’s starting this week’s game for them.

I, for one, welcome our new Missouri overlords of “Chiefs Kingdom”. The monarchy system of rank-until-death worked so well in the Carl Peterson years, right?

*Not that when Googling “Carl Peterson” THIS is the first result.
