The Sean Taylor Memorial Meast for Week 10 is Tavon Austin, who scored three touchdowns on top of posting 314 all-purpose yards, just 22 short of Flipper Anderson’s team record. The majority of the football pundit crowd hasn’t been shy about openly rooting for Austin throughout the season to stop dropping passes, break through and do something cool. In Week 10, he finally delivered, putting a season’s worth of highlights into a single game. Diddums to people like me who dumped Austin in fantasy weeks ago. If this isn’t just a freakish production outlier, it’s gonna hurt big time.

The Jeff George Memorial Least for Week 10 is Colin Kaepernick, who produced just over 100 yards, completed only 50 percent of his passes and threw a game-ending interception in the 49ers’ 10-9 loss to the Panthers. Carolina’s defense is certainly no joke, but Kaep had his opportunities to at least put double-digits points on the board and couldn’t make it happen. It sucks that an upshot of Kaep struggling is a pointless return of the “did the Niners make the right move last year?” debate, but you have to give Kaep grief when he deserves it.
