In 1974, the folks at Creative Education released a children’s book about Broadway Joe titled, “Joe Namath: The King of Football”. Indeed, most of the book’s pictures show Namath in a variety of football poses, including one where it looks like he’s backhanding a Lions defender. But there’s also a page that features an illustration of Namath shirtless and making out with a lady, while also doing leg presses. See, this was back when parents didn’t try to sugarcoat the world for kids. Adults let kids know their heroes loved to fuck then get a lift in. Well, at least the parents who bought this book did.
