A Pixar Animator Did Sketches About The 2012 NFL Season And They Are Awesome

By 02.05.13

Pixar may not be the infallible brand it once was in moviemaking, but there’s still a ton of talent operating under its auspices. Case in point, animator Austin Madison, who put together these great graphic representations of conflicts between the mascots of teams that played each other this season. It almost makes up for all the Cars movies.

Some are pretty creative plays on the team names. In particular, I enjoy the Browns being represented as a giant wave of… well, let’s be kind and call it sludge. Also the Falcons as the Millennium Falcon is nice.
