Two out of the last three weeks, division opponents have had the Colts dominated at halftime, only to swiftly blow it in the second half. At least the Texans had the excuse of their head coach collapsing at the break. Tennessee has no such explanation.
The Titans took a 17-6 lead into the locker room. By the halfway point of the third quarter, Andrew Luck had already juked out a Titans safety to run it in to give the Colts a 20-17 lead. From there, the Titans never really threatened and the Colts killed the clock with what Mike Mayock constantly referred to as body shots, but maybe he was just tipping his hand about what’s in the Trent Richardson orgy tape.
For as great a first quarter as Chris Johnson had, Donald Brown nearly matched his output by the end of the game. Why was it not Trent Richardson? Possibly because he does stuff like this:
