The further we get from the cancellation of Arrested Development in 2006, the dimmer the prospects of a movie become. Despite multiple cast members indicating last year that one was forthcoming, David Cross pissed out out the glowing embers of my optimism recently saying an AD movie won’t happen:
“It’s not official, but I just don’t think it’s going to happen. Way too much time it’s been (since the show ended). I mean, there’s so many people involved. Everyone’s doing their own thing, you know. And everybody’s aged. It’s just not going to happen.”
Way to make the off-season that much worse, dick.
