It took me a while to pin down who Philip Rivers resembles with his new mustache, but someone on Twitter pointed the Rod Farva connection out to Ufford and the matter was immediately settled.
Also, Ufford had Photoshopping fun with King Staschyface over at SB Nation if you want to check that out. In all honesty, it’s best to keep all discussion of this game to making fun of Philip Rivers’ facial hair. The Chargers are coming off three straight horrible losses, the most recent of which to the Browns. A popular stat to cite this week is that the Chiefs, even though they won a game, have yet to hold a lead at any point in regulation so far this season. Meanwhile, the Broncos are ascendant and have a cake schedule the rest of the way. Barring a NeckAIDS relapse, you can probably call the AFC West a wrap.
I’m sure Norv had what it takes to give the Chiefs their first regulation lead of the season. Hell, they could realistically dominate this entire game. That isn’t to say I have any confidence in them, it’s just that if anyone can be bowled over by historic ineptitude, it’s Norval. Anyway, gather ’round for a procession of derps, the likes of which no one has ever seen or even wanted to see.
Prediction: at halftime tonight, KC fires Romeo, SD fires Norv. KC then hires Norv, SD hires Romeo to interim coach. final score: SD 5, KC 2
