NFL Network used the hometown Philadelphia announcing team for its broadcast of the Patriots-Eagles preseason game, presumably because Mike Mayock and Brad Nessler can’t be bothered to travel for the preseason. Hometown announcers are almost uniformly terrible homers and the ones heard in Friday’s game were certainly no different. Still, it’s noteworthy to hear an announcer go out of his way to praise an NFL head coach for having poise and professional demeanor during an automatic touchdown review in a preseason game. Way to be a cool customer, Chip Kelly.
@xmasape He didn't crap his pants, puke and punch a side judge? Sounds like he's NFL material to me.
