Word quickly spread on Twitter last night that Jets uberfan Ed Anzalone — aka Fireman Ed — left at halftime with New York down to the New England Patriots, 35-3. By the time the Jets managed to score a safety in the third quarter, Ed had already deleted his popular Twitter account.
How rough of a night was it for Fireman Ed? He was taking guff from Jaguars fans.
Fireman Ed, welcome to the club. I stay to the end though.#Jaguars

So where does Ed go now that he has seemingly abandoned the Jets?
Being a New Yorker means the club scene is just a password and few tabs away for dance fans like Ed Mau5.
Inspired by Billy Bob Thornton in BAD SANTA, Santa Ed takes on a second job for the holidays at his local mall.
Raider Ed, because hey, it can’t get any worse.
Spock Ed, since Trek conventions cannot be any sadder than a Jets tailgate.
Parrot Head Ed spends the rest of the season looking for his lost shaker of salt.
Team Ed is obviously Team Ed.
Everyone feels better with a few rainbows, sparkle stars and ponies to brighten up their day.
Chin up, Fireman Ed. I know how rough it is when the camera catches you giving your best frownie face while watching a blowout, but it does get better (once the season ends).
