Hot CFL free agency news: Chad Johnson has signed with the Montreal Alouettes, a team he should rightfully be joining with Tim Tebow, but the Godslinger considers himself too good for our neighbors to the north (also equally possible that they’re too good for him).
When last the football world saw Chad, it was getting himself kicked off the Miami Dolphins during “Hard Knocks” in 2012 following an arrest for domestic violence charges. The erstwhile Ocho has spent two years in football exile, but now he’s getting another shot, albeit with the CFL.
Hopefully Chad can stay on the up and up, as the sport (even the Canadian portion of it) is more interesting with him around. May the reality live up to his fake Montreal diaries.
[Chad] est très content et excité d'être de retour sur le terrain et nous sommes heureux de lui souhaiter la bienvenue – @JimPoppGM
