We got to see the NFC West occupy the late afternoon timeslot. Now the NFC East’s teams own the next two primetime games. I think it’s in the NFL’s charter that no matter how bad the Cowboys and Giants are, they have to have minimum one Sunday or Monday night game each season.
The Giants have yet to lose in Jerry’s World in four trips. From a Cowboys schadenfreude standpoint, it would be unfortunate for that factoid to no longer be a thing, but in recent years these two teams have combined from some fairly memorable finishes, so if Dallas happens to pull it out in an improbable way that devastates the Giants, I won’t complain too much. After all, it’s no fun if both Manning brothers are happy at the end of the weekend.
Jason Pierre-Paul is active after being considered iffy all week for this game, so the chances for Romobyl meltdown are improved. Goody!
