Lots of NFL players have switched positions – sometimes more than once – since they began playing football. Did you know J.J. Watt used to be a tight end? You might have heard that a few thousands times anytime the Texans are in the red zone.
Evidently, Ravens linebacker Terrell Suggs was once a running back in high school. Make that an incredibly huge running back. He looks bigger than some of his blockers in that video. And while he has no lack of speed, it was fair to assume he wasn’t going to enjoy that speed and size advantage playing on the next level, so he had to make the switch to linebacker.
Ray Lewis couldn’t believe this ever happened. Why can’t you just have faith, Ray?
