It’s been a fun couple of years glorying in Jim Harbaugh’s sideline meltdowns and Walmart khakis in the NFL. However, according to multiple reports, it looks like we’re stuck with only the older, Super Bowl-winning Harbaugh in the pros, as Jim appears to be taking his conniption fits back to the college game.
I just got off the phone with more sources tonight. It's done. Jim Harbaugh is coming to Michigan – and his friends are flying in Monday.

The 49ers right tackle, Anthony Davis, said he already thanked Harbs for his time as San Francisco’s coach. For what it’s worth, close friends of Harbs are claiming he’s staying mum about it.
I just looked Harbaugh in his eyes and thanked him for leading us to some of the best times of our lives. Give Respect when it's Due.

Harbaugh initially said he wouldn’t give his alma mater serious consideration for his next coaching job, though apparently that was before Michigan drove a Brink’s truck up to his driveway and offered him a reported $48 million over six years. Sorry to the Raiders and the several other teams desperately hoping for a savior coach to swoop in and make them good enough to lose championship games over a stretch of several years. As for today’s game against the Cardinals, it should be an even more somber affair in San Francisco now that fans more or less have confirmation about Harbs’ future.
