Mike Tomlin Begins SidelineGate

After the Steelers scored a touchdown to cut the Ravens’ lead to 13-7 in the third quarter, Jacoby Jones broke free down the sideline on a long kick return that might have gone for a touchdown unless Mike Tomlin didn’t slightly obstruct him. Announcers wouldn’t call it intentional but they also wouldn’t stop marveling at how long Mike Tomlin was looking over his shoulder. Of course it’s a four-point swing and from the looks of it, the Ravens are gonna cruise to a comfortable win. It’s hard to create a huge controversy on a non-call that doesn’t swing a game.

UPDATE: The Ravens held on to win, though by a lesser margin then they’d been leading had this been a touchdown. It’s still a dirty move by Tomlin and he’ll certainly be punished. Was only arguing earlier that the story would have more legs if the Steelers ended up winning a close game.
