Plenty have ridiculed the idea of Adam (nee Pacman) Jones addressing incoming players at the Rookie Symposium. But he did a good enough job last year to be invited back. And no one would have objected until Jones got arrested earlier in June on a misdemeanor assault charge. But even with the latest incident, the amount of cautionary tales that Pacman can share outweighs the potential for mockery.
And so Pacman talked with the rookies again. In fact, he really wanted to do it. Why is that?
Entering his fourth season with the Bengals after a tumultuous beginning to his career, Jones said he wanted to discuss his circumstances with the rookies because he “keeps it real.”
OOOOO YIZZZ PACMAN BOUT TO DROP THE REALNESS ON DEEZ KIDZ. AN YOU WANT SOME MO REALNESS, YOU SEE ROUND BACK IN THE ALLEYWAY IN BOUT 10-15. CHUH CHUH
It’s admirable that Pacman wants to help others not stray in the ways he has. It’s also good that he’s doing it in the most Pacman way possible.
