Sam Bradford left the Rams-Browns preseason game in the first quarter with an injury to his recently surgically repaired left knee. While Bradford walked off under his own power, the injury appeared grave in the minutes following a hit by Armonty Bryant. So far the Rams have only confirmed that it is indeed a knee injury and that Bradford is done for the night. UPDATE: A Rams beat writer indicates that Bradford should be fine. UPDATE: Nope, he’s done for the year.
So it’s something to keep an eye on for one of the league’s less respected starting quarterbacks. 2014 is to be a make or break year for Bradford, and some wonder why he’s even been given this many chances. UPDATE: Womp womp.
Meanwhile, here’s a Browns fan with a very intense Brownie the elf back tattoo at that game. Not sure if it’s more or less disturbing than a season-ending injury.
