Terrell Owens has been out of the NFL since 2010, but that doesn’t mean his exploits still haven’t garnered widespread attention at every opportunity. In just the last few months, those antics – whether a stint in the Indoor Football League or an appearance on Dr. Phil – have still been covered in varying degrees of breathlessness by NFL outlets, including this one.
Though T.O. was actually quietly effective if less than fully spectacular in his last few seasons in Buffalo and Cincinnati, his years of being abrasive and a bottomless font of distraction had finally caught up with him. No team was willing to give him a shot. That is, until Seatttle decided it wanted every controversial once high-profile receiver it could get it hands on, save only Plaxico Burress, who gets to eventually lower his asking price or else be the only laughingstock wideout with remaining passable ability but no job.
At the age of 38, Terrell Owens is back in the NFL with a one-year deal. He joins a superstar cast of veteran f*ck-ups that includes Kellen Winslow, Marshawn Lynch and Braylon Edwards. I would say this is perfectly executed Ufford trolling, but Bernard Berrian remains unsigned.
