The first two episodes of this current season of “South Park” were somewhat lacking, but the show rebounded with an extremely strong episode last night that dealt with the proliferation of posing memes taking off as fads. NFL crossover hits like Tebowing and Bradying were touched upon. There were also a few memorable examples created by the show for the sake of parody, most notably Faith Hilling. At the episode’s close, Cartman broke into a riff on Faith’s SNF theme that I undoubtedly play over the actual intro each week throughout the coming season. There are a few spoilers/inside jokes in the clip that are best understood if you watched the full episode, in case that’s a concern. Either way, it is recommended viewing.
