The Tennessee Titans aren’t a very good team. They aren’t quite terrible, either. Nope, the Titans are ensconced right there in the vast swath that is the middle of the pack in the NFL. The only thing that separates them and 10 other teams is that Jake Locker has issues staying healthy.
But there is a notable thing about the Titans: they’re adept at losing to the worst team in the league.
Two years ago, Munchak’s Titans lost to the 0-13 Colts. Sunday, they lost to the 0-8 Jaguars, 29-27 at LP Field. And though the 2012 version of the Jacksonville Jaguars weren’t winless, they were headed for 2-14, and the Titans lost to them, too.
Jacksonville loves playing the Titans. The Jaguars have won eight games since 2011, and three of them have been over Tennessee, including the 29-27 result Sunday that was their first victory this season.
Honestly, it’s a nice thing about the Titans and worth celebrating. There isn’t much remarkable about them otherwise.
