It’s so annoying when your friends go on vacation without you and post pictures of all their good times on social media, while you toil away at your desk. But when your favorite celebrities go on vacation and do the same thing, not only is it awesome, but it makes you think, “Hey, celebrities are people, too!” Take Jennifer Lawrence and Amy Schumer, for example. Their newfound friendship made huge waves while they posted their joint vacation pics, but they’re not the only beloved famous people hitting the beach this summer. Montauk Beach, Long Island, New York

This is where the now-famous human pyramid featuring the internet’s favorite new best friends Jennifer Lawrence and Amy Schumer took place. While Montauk Beach may not be considered “exotic,” it’s still considered to be “amongst the Hamptons,” as well as a really nice beach next to the Atlantic Ocean. (It’s also, coincidentally, relatively close to where Long Island native Schumer was raised.) It’s definitely not unusual to see a famous face around the South Fork; some celebrities call the East End home.
Osheaga Art and Music Festival, Montréal, Québec
The Canadian festival that took place this past weekend hosted the cast of Suicide Squad and featured a lineup of very recognizable acts including headliner Florence + The Machine, Kendrick Lamar, St. Vincent, Charli XCX, and FKA Twigs. But even now that it’s over, Montréal is still a pretty chill place to visit if you’re into a more metropolitan vacation. The food and fashion scenes are hopping and it prides itself on being very LGBT-friendly.
Greece
Katy Perry escaped her feud with Taylor Swift by heading off to Greece for a truly picturesque vacation. While boasting several gorgeous modern spots, the main attraction of Greece is definitely the ancient civilization that has survived thousands of years. And if seeing ancient temples, statues, and structures gets to be overwhelming, there are plenty of museums featuring even more of the beginnings of mankind.

Willow Smith has been posting some envy-inducing pictures of her Hawaiian vacation. (Though if the recent news about her parents is true, it might be a getaway for her head, too.) What can you say about Hawaii? It’s an easy sell as a vacation spot any time of the year — perfect weather, friendly culture, local food, and endless beaches.
